    Relying on our strong foundation in biotechnology, we have successfully overcome the challenges of hygroscopicity and stability in the preparation of hydroxytyrosol using advanced bio- fermentation technology. Through multiple verifications, including hygroscopicity and stability tests, the hydroxytyrosol produced by Vertexyn Bioworks has demonstrated exceptional anti- hygroscopic properties and outstanding stability under various storage conditions. This breakthrough not only extends the shelf life of hydroxytyrosol but also ensures its sustained efficacy during application.


    Hygroscopicity Test of Hydroxytyrosol

    To comprehensively assess the performance of hydroxytyrosol produced through our bio-fermentation process in complex environments, we designed a hygroscopicity test under extreme constant temperature and high humidity conditions (45°C, 75% RH) for existing types of hydroxytyrosol in standard packaging.


    In a high-temperature, high-humidity environment (45°C, 75% RH), the loss on drying of standard-packaged pure hydroxytyrosol and 55% hydroxytyrosol-betaine co-crystal powder loss on drying increased only slightly (<0.3%). The weight loss for 55% hydroxytyrosol-niacinamide co-crystal powder also increased but remained within the acceptable quality standard (<5%).


    Studies show that plant-extracted hydroxytyrosol has a hygroscopicity of more than 12% at 75% relative humidity, while the hygroscopicity of cyclodextrin-encapsulated 20% hydroxytyrosol powder and corn starch-encapsulated 20% hydroxytyrosol powder is significantly lower than that of plant-extracted hydroxytyrosol.


    These findings demonstrate that the pure hydroxytyrosol and co-crystal powders produced by our company exhibit exceptional anti-hygroscopic properties.


    In addition to testing the hygroscopicity of hydroxytyrosol, we also conducted stability tests on hydroxytyrosol produced through bio-fermentation. We designed a comprehensive research plan that includes destructive testing, accelerated testing, and long-term stability testing to thoroughly evaluate the impact of these tests on the content retention and antioxidant activity of 20% hydroxytyrosol powder and 99% pure hydroxytyrosol.


    After multiple validations in specific extreme environments, both the 20% hydroxytyrosol powder and the 99% pure hydroxytyrosol showed only slight changes in assay, and the antioxidant activity decreased only slightly compared to before the experiments. This further confirms that hydroxytyrosol produced by Vertexyn Bioworks demonstrates exceptional quality and long-lasting stability.
